Tom Collins

A summer classic, you can't go wrong with a simple, straightforward Tom Collins! The fizzy cousin of a Gimlet is probably what Ah Ma drank on a hot day in the 1970s and now you can make it at home too.

Base Spirit: Gin

Cocktail Strength: Light

Flavour Profile: Citrusy and Refreshing

Ingredients

  • Downpour Original Scottish Dry Gin - 60ml
  • Lemon Juice - 30ml
  • Rich Simple Syrup - 22.5ml
  • Soda Water - To Top Off

Method

1) All the Gin, Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup to a shaker tin with Ice
2) Shake until well-chilled
3) Strain and serve into a Highball Glass with ice
4) Top off with Soda water
5) Garnish with a wedge or peel of Lemon
