Light & Breezy

What started off as a genius idea by the mamas, that turned out to be a drink that already exists, the Light & Breezy is the perfect rum-based cocktail for the wonderful heat we get in sunny Singapore. Made with the beautiful Mapmakers Coastal Spiced Rum, you can almost taste the sun, sky and sands of Sentosa in this one.

Base Spirit: Rum

Cocktail Strength: Light

Flavour Profile: Sweet, Spicy, and Savoury

Ingredients

  • Mapmakers Coastal Spiced Rum - 60ml
  • Lime Juice - 15ml
  • Rich Simple Syrup - 10ml
  • Saline - 3 drops
  • Thomas Henry Spicy Ginger Beer - To Top Off

Method

1) Add the Rum, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup and Saline into a shaker tin with ice
2) Shake until well-chilled
3) Strain and serve into a Highball Glass with Spear Ice or Ice cubes
4) Top off with Spicy Ginger Beer
5) Garnish with a sprig of Mint
