Downpour Sloe & Bramble Gin
Delicious sloe berries & hand gathered Uist brambles are added to Downpour Scottish Dry Gin before being aged in bourbon casks for an unmistakable finish that delivers complex & rich fruity flavours.
A slow sloe gin. We soak the sloes in alcohol for up to a year, allowing the stone to impart marzipan notes. Each batch is named after the area of the island that the brambles are gathered.
TASTING NOTES - Rich, jammy, fruit cake flavours. The ageing in bourbon casks adds vanilla notes. Less sweet than a traditional sloe gin so can be paired with a mixer or sipped neat.
