A Recipe Born In The Skies

What started as a simple friendship and exciting hobby of two once-young pilots has developed into a mutual endeavour and lifelong devotion. Their big dream has finally come true via a small batch distillery, where everything from distillation and aging to bottling and sealing is done by the Old Pilots’ own hands.

Passion for flying combined with passion for the finest spirits inspired two pilots to establish the Croatian micro-distillery “Duh u boci” and create something truly unique.

Old Pilot’s Gin's exquisite London Dry Gin is distilled with selected, all-natural Croatian botanicals such as Juniper, Orange, Lavender, Sage, Angelica and Olive Leaves. Each bottle is carefully handcrafted and matured using the world’s only recipe for gin made in the skies.

Crafted By Hand, In Small Batches

Distillery 'Duh u boci' is focused on producing premium quality spirits. Their process, through carefully selected botanicals and their unique distillation technology, allows them to produce only high quality spirits. Old Pilot's is not a high volume distillery. They are a small batch distillery where everything from distillation to bottling is done by them, in their very own premises. Quality and authenticity without compromise.

Only The Best

There are easier ways to produce spirits. Extracts, faster distillation, smaller cuts, etc. - but that’s not the Old Pilot's way. They only use the heart of distillation, cutting out bad alcohols, both at the beginning and at the end of the distillation process.

This process and resulting product has been deservedly recognised by the numerous awards they have received for their London Dry Gin alone.
